In her role as Adjunct Professor at Schiller International University, Dr. Manuela Toteva delivered an interactive workshop for incoming students on intercultural communication in Germany. The session combined cultural frameworks, practical guidance, student discussion, and applied exercises designed to support academic, professional, and social integration.

Dr. Manuela Toteva co-organised and moderated a guest lecture on international and economic diplomacy at Schiller International University’s Heidelberg Campus. Guest speaker Stefan Ionkov, Consul General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Munich, shared practical insights into diplomatic careers, consular responsibilities, and the role of diplomacy in attracting international investment.

At the 6th International Conference “Literacies and Contemporary Society: From Skills to Practices” in Nicosia, I had the opportunity to present the results of pilot research on digital communication and artificial intelligence in higher education. The study offers a Bulgarian perspective based on data collected in February 2026, with contributions from students and faculty members at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.”

As part of Career Days at Schiller International University’s Heidelberg Campus, Dr. Manuela Toteva moderated a panel examining how communication, technology, and social impact intersect across different professional environments. The discussion brought together experts from biotechnology, digital technology, consulting, and international business.
