Recruitment Marketing: The New Era of Corporate Social Responsibility

Highlights of my presentation at #HROutoftheBoxStrategies conference

One of the most famous and influential thinkers and writers on the theory and practice of management, the great Peter Drucker, whom we all know, says in his typical thoughtful style:

THE 21st CENTURY WILL BE THE CENTURY OF THE SOCIAL ORGANIZATIONS. THE MORE THE ECONOMY, MONEY, AND INFORMATION GLOBALIZE, THE GREATER THE IMPORTANCE OF SOCIETY“ ERDRUCKERPETER DRUCKER

What is the traditional meaning of "corporate social responsibility" in our country and around the world? Many of us work for large international corporations, small or medium-sized companies, non-governmental organizations, institutions that I sure recognize the concept and apply it internally to members of their teams, as well as externally - to stakeholders and society.

Social responsibility - this is an element of corporate culture, which requires the fulfillment of voluntary commitments by companies, in which personal gain and private corporate interests recede into the background and a new vision of corporate values is established.

When it comes to CSR in Bulgaria, we can rather say that this is a relatively new concept from the late 90s of the last century, which has a rapid development and significant achievements.

Since 2008, I have organized and participated in many different causes, with the participation of volunteer staff aimed at nature conservation, support for education, healthy lifestyles, sports, culture, and the promotion of professional women.
